Candle Meditation

Take a few minutes each day to calm your mind and body with this meditation.


*Sit quietly where you will not be distracted.


*Close your eyes.


*Count your breath for a cycle of seven (7) inhales and exhales.


*Visualize seven candles in front of you on a tray, each a different color of the rainbow

I like to use the ROY G BIV order.....Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, and Violet.


*Imagine the candles are flickering, creating a peaceful and beautiful ambiance.


*One at a time, blow out the candles in their color order.

You can imagine blowing them out or you can use your breath to actually inhale and exhale.


*When you have blown out all of your candles, open your eyes.


*Count your breath for a cycle of seven (7) inhales and exhales.


*Repeat as desired.
